As a Service Mechanic, you work on the most innovative packaging machines for customers all over the world. From modern factories in the Netherlands to high-tech production sites in Germany, America or Australia: wherever you go, you make sure our machines continue to function perfectly. The vacancy in brief:

  • As a Service Mechanic, you travel frequently, both nationally and internationally. It is an independent and varied role with room to grow;
  • You receive a good salary that matches your knowledge and experience, including 25 vacation days and 13 ADV days;
  • You assemble complete machines and provide maintenance and service for these machines;
  • You have some experience in a similar role or have completed a technical or mechatronic education.

What will you do as a Service Mechanic?

In the role of Service Mechanic, you are the face of Willems Baling Equipment for our customers. You travel to locations in the Netherlands and abroad to provide maintenance and service for our machines. In addition, you assemble and commission new installations, resolve malfunctions and contribute to the smooth operation of complete packaging lines.

During your work, you use a wide range of technologies, including electrical engineering, pneumatics and hydraulics. Thanks to your technical insight and independent way of working, you are able to find solutions quickly and effectively. Because our customers operate worldwide, you travel regularly. Usually within Europe, but sometimes beyond. This allows you not only to discover different cultures, but also to see first-hand how your work has an impact worldwide.

What do you bring as a Service Mechanic?

You have a passion for technology and a natural curiosity about how complex machines work. A completed technical or mechatronic education at secondary vocational level or higher provides a strong foundation for this role. Experience as a Service Mechanic, troubleshooting technician or maintenance technician is a plus, but enthusiasm and technical insight are just as important.

You feel at home in mechanical engineering and enjoy working on innovative projects. In addition, you are solution-oriented, have strong communication skills and enjoy working independently at various locations. Because you often work with international customers, you speak Dutch and English well. A valid category B driving licence is required.
